James "Liam" Biggerstaff
Founder and chief visionary, James is the driving force behind the company. He is a proud LGBT engineer with over a decade in manufacturing experience and a passion for skincare and natural wellness products.
James has always been an innovator and creative thinker, so when he started to explore the world of CBD-infused skincare and cosmetics, he was inspired to launch LuxBud. With the knowledge he gained through his engineering background, James developed revolutionary formulas that are safe for your skin and kind to the environment.
As LuxBud grew, James’ vision expanded beyond just creating products – it became about creating a community. He strives to make sure that everyone has access to high-quality beauty products without having to sacrifice their values.
When he’s not busy at LuxBud, James loves spending time outdoors, writing, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Farmer's Market
LuxBud begins in person sales at Michigan City farmers market.
Product Line Launch
Website launched and in person sales began.
First production runs commenced for initial three product lines.
Representative batch samples sent to laboratory for independent third party testing to ensure safety and efficacy.
With the final version of the signature Ultra Premium CBD LuxBud formula nailed down, development and testing began on additional products including Lip Balm and LuxBud deeper.
LuxBud LLC Founded
Upon discovering the power and benefits of the natural ingredients used in his personal body butter formula, James started LuxBud to bring this formula to the masses.
